Miyazaki :: Rossoby *Etoli

As part of a training exercise for the project I'll be working on, I'm re-accquainting myself with painting in photoshop without the convention of linework.

It turned out to be a really fun challenge!

The goal being, to repaint one of Miyazake's classic BG layouts in the painterly style of said secret project. I was able to sample colors from the Porco Rosso palette, and then add some of my own touches as I went.

I loved this movie from the moment I watched it years ago on television. And the scenes that occurred in his little getaway were aside from the kiss scene-my favorite

You have a wonderful eye for depth, color, and lighting. Thank you for using your unique and beautiful style to bring justice to Miyazaki's work.

I think you would do great on a Pom Pocco bg.
