This was done at the request of an Ai buddy of mine, but I also did this for all the people who have been curious as to how I go about creating detailed backgrounds in flash. This treatment is light, but it's enough to get you started if you're already somewhat familiar with the Flash interface. I hope this helps you some, I had fun making my first tutorial to share with all of you!
its a nice theory tutorial, except if it were towards a less talented artist it wouldnt be as good a tutorial, because explains how to set up your scene, and most skilled atists and animators would already know that, but u took time in making this tutorial and i apreciate it, and im sure people will find it useful, a good tutorial, would be explaining how you animate your characters, and whether you use a build-up method or if you just draw the free hand, tutorials are better when they explain the small details, e.g. how you would animate hair when animating a walk cycle, i hope i havent been to harsh, love your work XD
Thanks, that's really helpful! You broke it down nice and easy. It's been a year or so since I took a Flash course, so I've forgotten a ton, but this brings it back.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
